Deals and Dealmakers is a digital TV channel created by London law firm Mishcon de Reya and online TV producer yourBusinessChannel.
We have entered a new era of deal-making post-2008. As stability gradually returns to the global economic market, we are nonetheless left with a landscape that favours the astute and nimble. Innovative strategies are required to best serve businesses, whether they be large corporate entities or entrepreneurial start-ups. Founded in 1937, Mishcon de Reya is a law firm with offices in London and New York offering a wide range of legal services to companies and individuals. In 2011, the firm announced a 30% increase in turnover – growing from a £47.5m to a £61.5m business in just one year. The same year, for the fourth year running, Mishcon de Reya was named in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For – ranked 28th, the highest placed law firm. Additionally, the firm was recognised for its innovative approach to branding, winning the Financial Times Innovative Lawyer Awards’ innovation in law firm brands category in 2010.
